Abanazar's Revenge
Pantomime - variable/flexible casting - doubling possible

Synopsis
The Evil Queen and Abanazar have pooled their evil forces to get their own back on the good guys. They kidnap Snow White, Princess Jasmine and Sleeping Beauty and it’s up to Dick Whittington, Aladdin and Prince Charming, aided by Widow Twankey, Wishee-Washee, the cat, the good fairy and the genies to make a rescue attempt.

An unusual pantomime with three principal boys, three principal girls and a host of well-known characters, plus all the usual ingredients you expect from a pantomime - songs, bad jokes, monsters, slapstick… Oh yes there is!

Ideally suited to groups who have a strong association with a youth group, so as to give strong parts to junior principals.

Author's notes
Abanazar's Revenge was written when I used to run a junior drama group. The young actors were all reaching the end of their secondary education and this would be their last production before they spread their wings and headed off for jobs, colleges and universities, so we wanted to use as many of them as possible in the pantomime, mixed in with the adult members of the group.
